SHAWARMA SPICE MARINATED GOAT CHEESE

Marinated cheese is always a hit at picnics - but you can make it even better by customizing it on your own. Ours was made with a goat cheese, homemade garlic infused olive oil, roasted garlic and a bit of shawarma spice. Serve with a baguette, crackers, cucumbers, or add on a sandwich!

INGREDIENTS

 

  • 1 pack plain goat, feta or sheep's cheese
  • 1.5 tsp Dukkan Shawarma Spice
  • Extra Virgin Olive oil
  • Roasted garlic or garlic infused olive oil (optional)
  • 1 pack small Persian cucumbers (or crackers or bread!) to dip

 

Step 1:

Add crumbled plain goat or sheep's cheese to a clean jar.

 

Step 2:

Add shawarma spice and roasted garlic i(f using), then cover everything with olive oil.

 

Step 3:

Leave in the fridge for a few hours to let the cheese marinate.

 

Step 4:

Enjoy with cucumbers, crackers, breads, on salads - wherever you use marinated cheese!
